Neuropathy
Neuropathy is a condition marked by pain, tingling or stinging sensations, or numbness in the limbs, hands, and feet. The condition mainly affects the peripheral nervous system, the collection of nerves that run into your body’s extremities from the brain and spinal cord. Roughly a third of all neuropathic patients are diabetic; another third have symptoms caused by poor nutrition, traumatic injury, tumors, auto-immune disorders, or other diseases. The final third have no identifiable cause; these are called idiopathic patients.
Most sufferers who are neuropathic complain of numbness in the hands and feet, painful, tingling sensations in the feet, night-time discomfort, pin-like sensations with each movement, and other painful feelings that can linger on for years if not treated. Formerly, the only treatment for neuropathy involved momentary pain management and relief. Now, though, neuropathy can be managed and controlled with proven chiropractic techniques. The Neuropathy treatments calm and repair damaged nerves to become functional again. The treatments include the use of our special equipment and daily supplements which will help restore healthy nerves.

Calmare® Pain Relief Therapy
The Calmare® Pain Relief Therapy utilizes a device that delivers a ‘no-pain’ message that is transmitted to the nerve via disposable surface electrodes applied to the skin in the region of the patient’s pain. The perception of pain is cancelled when the no-pain message replaces that of pain, by using the same pathway through the surface electrodes in a non-invasive way. Regardless of pain intensity, a patient’s pain can be completely removed for immediate relief.
Maximum benefit is achieved through follow-up treatments. The patient may be able to go for extended periods of time between subsequent treatments while experiencing significant pain control and relief. The period of time between treatments depends on the underlying cause and severity of the pain in addition to other factors.
